If you’re dealing with heavy duty applications such as motor control, you’ll need a contactor that can handle the load. Our Chint NC1 contactor range is suitable for loads between 9 amps and 95 amps AC3, and the NC2 range of contactor is suitable between 115 amps and 630 amps AC3 and up to 800 amps AC1. Both these contactor ranges are available in 3 and 4 pole with a wide selection of coil voltages to choose from. Plus, any Chint contactor can be used as a motor starter in direct on line configurations or reversing and star delta starters when used with the appropriate contactor accessories.

Circuit breakers operate to protect electrical circuits from damage and will disconnect the flow when a fault or overload occurs. Circuit breakers have various advantages over a simple fuse, not least in the fact that you can simply reset them instead of needing to replace them. For additional safety we would always recommend that an RCD or RCBO (Residual Current Device) is also fitted as they respond immediately to a fault, even quicker than a miniature circuit breaker.

We carry a full range of steel enclosures from manufacturers like Chint and Himel (now Schneider) in a wide selection of sizes. Each steel enclosure comes with a mounting plate and is grey powder coated to the industry standard RAL7035. Both the steel enclosure door and bottom gland plate are removable for ease of access, and we’re confident you’ll find a steel enclosure to meet all your requirements and specifications.
