• Chint MCB's are suitable for a variety of applications including short circuit, overload and line protection.
• MCBs with the C type characteristic react slower than B type but faster than D type MCBs.  This type of MCB will trip and break the circuit when the current passing through them is between 5 and 10 times the normal full load current.  Whilst B type MCBs are used in domestic applications and D type MCBs are used to protect motors, C type MCBs are for general industrial use were inductive loads are present such as fluorescent lighting installations.
